In 1982 the LP "Revival" from Winterhawk appeared on its own. The excessive hard rock with heavy metal tendencies and many two-part guitar solos once only found distribution in the Chicago area, but at some point collectors became aware of the record. This called the Monster Records label in 1998, which temporarily specialized in American hard rock and heavy metal between the end of the seventies and early eighties. Winterhawk was a name in the scene quite quickly.
