G : vinyl has surface marks and plays with significant surface noise; suoitable for DJs to play in public.
VG : vinyl has been played and might have some surface marks but still plays very well; may have light surface noise.
EX : vinyl is near perfect apart from light non-audible surface marks.
NM : vinyl is like new, possibly unplayed; perfect in any way.
