Legendary 1954 Reiner/Chicago Symphony Orchestra performance of a Strauss war horse. Recorded by Jack Pfeiffer, who oversaw the Classic transfer of one of his favorite recordings, believing the Classic reissue as "definitive and spectacular".  This Classic Record's reissue was the first title announced and released by Classic from its now legendary RCA Living Stereo reissue of 20 titles in 1994.  This is the title that started it all eventually establishing Classic Record's as the world's most renowned vinyl reissue company.  Mastered by Bernie Grundman from the original 15 ips master tapes and pressed on Classic Record's proprietary 200g QUIEX vinyl Super Vinyl Profile for maximum playback fidelity make this a reissue not to be missed!

Payments & Shipping

State tax will be charged to California residents. These costs will be included in your final invoice for payment.

Payment must be completed within 7 days of purchase or auction win. Items will ship within 2-3 business days of receiving cleared payment.

Shipping costs will be calculated after the winning bid is submitted to ensure that costs are accurate depending upon resident's address, the item's weight and type of shipping service.

Combined shipping is available.
