Description
Alexander Gibson conducts "Witches Brew" RCA Records# 2225 Living Stereo TAS.."Shaded Dog" Matrix#'s J2 RY 4460 3S....J2 RY 4461 1S...Probably one of the most famous RCA's from the early Stereo Era. Rarely seen, since it was of limited suppy in the USA after being recorded in England by UK Decca. Recorded in Kingsway Hall in London under the direction of Alexander Gibson conducting the New Symphony Orchestra of London. This is one of my picks for one the most dynamic records RCA ever produced. Engineered by Kenneth Wilkinson and Ray Minshull, this record is known for it's 3-D imaging recording technique done in 1957. The Decca team used their famous Decca "tree" miking technique which is a little different than the US engineers. One of the top 5 RCA Stereo recording of all time!...................... ....................................................................................The Cover shows light wear and looks fine. Grade VG++..Good Shape!.No Splits!.....................The Record shows nice clean gloss and looks fine.Grade NM-...Excellent!.........................................PLEASE CHECK BACK FOR MORE NEW, RARE AND EXCITING LISTINGS AND DON'T FORGET TO CHECK OUT MY OTHER ITEMS, WHICH INCLUDE SOME ADDITIONAL RARE LP's IN FANTASTIC CONDITION!!
