Description
Lucette Descaves-Truc was born in Paris, 1 April 1906. Studied from an early age with Marguerite Long, first prize at the Conservatoire Paris in 1923 in the class of Nat Yves. Toured widely and had also a long teaching career at the Conservatory, first as assistant of Marguerite Long and Nat Yves and with her own class from 1947 to 1976. She died in Paris, 15 April 1993.
