Description

LUCIFER’S FRIEND, WHERE GROUPIES KILLED THE BLUES ORIG GER SWIRL VERTIGO KRAUTROCK PROG PSYCH LP

Original German Swirl Vertigo 6360 602 from 1972.

Very Rare Progressive Hard Krautrock Masterpiece LP.
Features killer electric guitar mixed with beautiful orchestration, haunting vocals, and electric piano.

Earliest 1st pressing.  Includes flap insert poster.

EX+  / EX+ (Record / Cover).

The disc is nice and flat.
The labels have a name on one side but are otherwise clean with no spindle marks.

Side 1, “Hobo” plays mint, there is tiny surface noise in the piano solo of “Rose on the Vine” and afterwards the record plays mostly near mint but there are a few places with light surface noise so I will downgrade it to EX+ as a conservative grade.  Side 2 has just a hint of faint surface noise below the music here and there.  The record is very close to but just below a M- grade.

The matt gatefold cover flaws include moderate edge wear, a tiny amount of corner wear, and a few moderate edge creases along the top and a small crease on the back middle at the opening side.  There is also wear along the front edge of the spine.  The face sides are very clean (M-) with no significant wear and the inside gatefold is also nice (M-).  The flap insert poster is near mint.

Includes original poly lined inner sleeve.

ALL RECORDS COMPLETELY PLAY GRADED ON MY SYSTEM  INCLUDING BENZ LP CARTRIDGE, VECTOR 4 ARM, BASIS DEBUT TURNTABLE, VIVA AURORA POWER, AND AVANTE GARDE DUO SPEAKERS.
