Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years. My main interest has been PROGRESSIVE especially the VERTIGO SWIRL/SPIRAL LABEL, reputed to be the most collectable label in the world?

I have finally finished my SWIRL collection of over 160 albums of which most are UK pressings, and now I am going to SELL them ( I must be mad ). I have been quite fussy about the QUALITY, CONDITION and they must be the VERY FIRST PRESSINGS. The latter has been the hardest to decipher and has had me buying and selling many copies of the same album to achieve this,and I almost have with these collectable gems.

I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and lots of clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWESOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.

For sale here is --LUCIFER'S FRIEND--WHERE THE GROUPIES KILLED THE BLUES-- ORIGINAL GERMAN VERY FIRST PRESSING WITH VERY FIRST PRESSING SLEEVE,1972, stereo 6360 602. MORE WILL FOLLOW!

SLEEVE.....GATEFOLD and UN-LAMINATED. This delicate un-laminated surface LOOKS TOP. It is in GREAT condition showing MINIMALwear. It is a GENUINE VERY FIRST PRESSING.  It is very flat and square. The colours are very strong and vibrant LIKE NEW. The top edges are MINT as new. The bottom edges show the very minimum of very careful use and are EX++ The front is EX++with  NO UNWANTED WRITING, NO STICKER TEARS, NO STICKERS, ALMOST NO CREASES AND NO STAINING  . The rear  is in the same wonderful EX++ condition with NO RING WEAR.  The opening edges  are in lovely condition with no tears and no feathering. There is minimal wear to thecenter of the spine  and all information is fully ledgible. The inner gatefold is in wonderful MINT condition. There is minimal wear to the tips of the corners. This album is German and therefore does not come with a swirl inner sleeve. All in all this is in wonderful condition for a 35 year old UN-LAMINATED sleeve. EX+. 

LABELS.....There is NO unwanted writing, staining, stickers, residue or tears. there are NO spindle marks.This album has obviously been handled with the gratest of care. STUNNING. MINT

VINYL....Both sides of this fantastic album still have their JUST PRESSED deep black shine. When you hold this album in the very brightest of lights you can see almost NO surface hair lines, there are no nasty marks or scratches. In normal daylight this album is AS NEW. I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of sound quality at all, wonderful sound stage and stereo seperation. There are NO POPS, NO CLICKS and NO SCRATCHES. There are only VERY MINOR dust crackles that can only be heard between tracks, but a professional clean should sort out most of that. These HEAVY VINYL origional pressings are second to none. This really is a great copy that any collector would be delighted to add to their collection, a real KEEPER . I CANNOT STRESS ENEOUGH JUST HOW CLEAN AND STUNNING THIS VINYL IS!! N/MINT-N/MINT very nice indeed!! 

THIS IS GETTING VERY HARD TO FIND IN ANY CONDITION. IT IS RARE IN MINTY CONDITION.
