Description

Please read my description carefully before bidding.  I will ship the item worldwide and will accept a free return if it doesn't match the listing description.


This one is the first mono pressing of LUCKY THOMPSON BIG BAND's LUCKY STRIKES!   Transition LP (TRLP-21).  This one is an original issue from TRANSITION, not a reissue version by OJC or Classic Records.  High quality original pressing in 1956.  Black Labels.  Very very rare.


Comes with original Booklet in collectible condition.  And an original rice paper inner sleeve.


Artists Include: Lucky Thompson (tenor saxophone), Jo Hrasko (alto saxophone), Marcel Hrasko (baritone saxophone), Benoit Quersin (bass), Dave Pochonet (drums), Sir John Peter (guitar), Martial Solal (piano), Andre Paquinet and Charles Verstraete (trombone), Christian Bellest and Fernand Verstraete (trumpet).


The vinyl played perfectly like new on both sides. Music is very nice.  Under the bright light, I saw non-feelable scuffs on both sides. Vinyl is shinning. 

Labels are intact, not detached like most of the Transition LPs.

Booklet is in a collectible condition.


The cover is also like new. No split, no crack, no bruise. 


The record is play graded as well as visually. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws.


My grading is as follows: M (perfectly like new), NM, NM-/VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G, G-.
