Up for bids is a great, rare, mono Jazz LP by Lucky Thompson, featuring the Gerard Pochonet Quartet. Dawn Records. DLP 1113. 1957.ORIGINAL 1ST PRESSING!
DEEP GROOVE PRESSING!
HEAVY, FLAT EDGED PRESSING!
Comes with Audio Fidelity plastic inner sleeve in VG++ condition (record will be shipped in separate polylined sleeve and outside cover).
NOTE:
The grades I use are Mint (rarely used grade), Near Mint, VG+++ (rarely used grade), VG++, VG+, VG, VG Minus, Good+, Good, Fair and Poor.
Cover is a STRONG VG+ to VG++ condition. Front is really nice with some minor wear. Back of cover has some minor wear and light browning near the spine area. Top No splits! All sides are intact! Spine print is mostly rolled towards front of cover. Strong and sturdy, this is still a prime example of this cover!
I would rate the record’s condition as a STRONG VG++. Looks gorgeous with hardly a mark! Some minor surface noise between and during tracks. Record sounds amazing on my player!
Makes a great gift for any Lucky Thompson fan!
