Offered at auction is a supreme rarity, hotly pursued by audiophiles and music collectors alike! Truly a wonderful 2-LP set in near mint condition - earliest pressings, complete with the linen box to house the LPs! Don't miss out on this magnificent piece of recorded music history!!

Long out of print and now supremely rare (in this version especially), up for auction is a NEAR MINT 2-LP SET OF OUTSTANDING Max Reger CHAMBER MUSIC PIECES for cello & piano - performed by none other than -

KARL HEINZ LAUTNER, PIANO

Max Reger - Vier Sonaten fur Violoncello & Klavier

The records are from the ULTRA-rare CHRISTOPHOROUS series of LPs (now LONG out of print), catalog # SCK 70318 (in stereo).  What makes this set so special is that it comes complete with the first edition pressing linen box. 

Overall, the LPs, BOX and JACKET are all in NEAR MINT condition!

Details - the JACKETS are completely intact - no seam splits whatsoever.  The jackets show virtually no shelf wear - the colours are bold, beautiful and unblemished - the pictures below do not do them justice.  They are nice and solid, with crisp corners and clean vivid colours. The linen box is also near mint with just the beginnings of weakening corners (completely intact and NOT broken). The colours on the box are also vivid and lovely to behold.

The LPs have no detectable marks - they are near mint and play that way (the vinyl was play graded)! The records have LIGHT GREEN record labels, with BLACK lettering. The LPs were pressed in GERMANY. 

The LPs are audiophile quality pressings (any collector of fine MFSL, half speeds, direct to discs, Japanese/UK pressings etc., can attest to the difference a quality pressing can make to an audio system).
