Rare original spanish pressing of Luis De Pablo's electroacoustic masterpiece "We" in a 1984 reworked and more accomplished version.
Some info on the release: Bloody rare original issue, released in Spain sometime in the 80's on the Nuevos Medios label. Very small limited edition pressing, one of his hardest to find albums. The album features the re-working of his 1969 electronic-musique concrete masterpiece "We Nosotros". Electroacoustic trasformations, musique concrete manipulations, cut-ups, sound collages prepared in the electronic studio of the Cuenca GME. Luis de Pablo aspired from the Karlheinz Stockhausen "Licht" series, decided to rework and accomplish in perfection this work from 1969 bringing inside a lot of new elements. A real masterpiece and a must to discover!!
Luis de Pablo is very well known for his electronic & electroacoustic works("We Nosotros", "Visto de Cerca", "Soledad Interumpida", "Comme d'Habitude" and others). Close to his copratiots Andres Lewin Richter, Horacio Vaggione, Eduardo Polonio, Gabriel Brncic and Gonzalo de Olavide. His musical education included teachings by Maurice Ohana and Darmstadt summer courses with Bruno Maderna and Pierre Boulez. His turn to aleatoric music marked him in most of his work. He has released records on labels like Wergo, Claves, Polydor, Rca and others.
Condition: Vinyl lies in very good condition, looks super clean, like new but has a warp that as you will realize affects playing for the first 3-4 minutes of each side as a repeated "swoosh" sound which fades out, while cover lies in very good- shape, with a tear on front (picture does not show the tear - picture of the actual item available on request).
