Condizioni : la copertina apribile presenta lungo tutti i bordi dei lati esterni ed interni, costolina compresa, una sistematica adesivizzazione con del nastro trasparente con un altezza di circa 0,5 cm per ciascun bordo: si osservi, per cortesia le foto n° 4 e 5. Poc' altro se non un lieve ring wear; bello stato, VG++ / il vinile ha l'etichetta bianca per usi di promozione. Come si può vedere nella scansione n° 3 un pezzetto di nastro adesivo nero copre le parole disco promozionale... su entrambi i lati. Alcuni segnetti non condizionano il perfetto ascolto con appena l'eccezione di un leggero click all'inizio della prima traccia sulla prima facciata; grande stato, EX+

Condition : the gatefold cover has along all edges of the outer and inner sides, including the spine, a systematic gluing with clear tape with a height of approximately 0,5 cm for each edge: please look to photos No. 4 and 5. Little else but a slight ring wear, VG++ / vinyl has the white promotional label. As you can see in the scan No. 3 a little piece of black tape hides the words "disco  prozionale.." (promotional copy not for sale" on both sides. Some light scuffs do not affect listening with the exception of one slight click in the initial part of the first track on side one, EX+

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie il controllo viene effettuato sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i dischi in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati, i 33 giri su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1 mentre gli EP e i singoli a 45 giri con un Thorens TD 166 BC fornito di una testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All records in auction have been fully heard. Lps on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge, EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : un bel disco pieno di ritmi calienti e ben cantato e suonato. Riccardo Cocciante, qui ai suoi esordi, interpreta con grande slancio vocale tre canzoni, tutte basate su rhythm & blues, funk o più generalmente black music."Down Memory Lane" (a1) inizia come una ballata soul dall'andamento moderato poi la comparsa della chitarra elettrica con entusiasmanti rockeggianti riffs apre la strada ad un maggior impeto sia dei suoni che del cantato. "Rhythm" (b1) ha uno sviluppo veloce con belle vene funky guidato da chitarra, basso, tastiere e batteria e dal fumoso, ruvido timbro soul di Cocciante. "Don't Put Me Down" (b5) è quasi una canzone gospel che aumenta progressivamente d'intensità sia da parte del cantante che del coro. Poi un intervallo in cui si avvertono alcune sonorità di sirtaki. Infine Cocciante riprende a cantare con poderosa tonalità. Di eleganza indiscutibile "Uma Bossa pra' Dedé" (a3) dal carattere sonoro molto ritmato e condotta con incredibile maestria dalla chitarra di Toquinho e da bei vocalizzi femminili privi di parole di senso compiuto. E ancora: "Boulders movements (part 1)" (a2) un brano strumentale eseguito dal gruppo di turno in sala di registrazione "Godfather", con una vigorosa linea di basso e bella musica rock di chitarra, tastiere e batteria, "Sylvia's Earrings" (b2) che ha dei piacevoli sapori country della chitarra elettrica con basso, tastiere e batteria in supporto. Infine "Boulders movements (part 2)" interamente basata sul suono delle percussioni che via via diventa sempre più ossessivo.

Notes : a great album full of hot rhythms and well sung and played. Riccardo Cocciante as Richard Cocciante, here at the beginning, performs with great vocal enthusiasm three songs all based on rhythm and blues, funk or more generally soul music. "Down Memory Lane" (a1) starts out as a soul ballad from the moderate development then the appearance of the electric guitar with its exciting rockin' riffs opens the way to a greater vehemence both in sound and in singing. "Rhythm" (b1) with beautiful funky flavors has a fast development led by guitar, bass, keyboards and drums and the smoky, raspy soul tone by Cocciante. "Do not Put Me Down" (b5) is almost a gospel song that gradually increases in intensity both by the singer and the choir. Then a pause where you feel some sonorities of sirtaki. Finally Cocciante resumes to sing with his powerful tone. From the indisputable refinement "Uma Bossa pra' Dede" (a3) characterized by very rhythmic nature and conducted with incredible talent by guitar of Toquinho and beautiful wordless female vocalisms. And again: "Boulders movements (part 1)" (a2) an instrumental tune performed by session musicians under the name "Godfather", with a strong bass line and nice rock music of guitar, keyboards and drums, "Sylvia's Earrings" (b2), which has some pleasant country flavors of the electric guitar with bass, keyboards and drums in support. Finally "Boulders movements (part 2)" entirely based on the sound of percussion that gradually becomes more and more obsessive.

Film che a me piace molto con un bel finale horror: vizi privati e "pubbliche virtù" della Roma "che conta". Quanto di più adatto ai giorni nostri! Coprodotto da Italia, Francia e Germania e diretto da Carlo Lizzani. Grande ed ampio cast: Nino Manfredi, Michèle Mercier, Philippe Leroy, Gastone Moschin, Virna Lisi, Vittorio Caprioli, Senta Berger, Umberto Orsini, Irene Papas e Franco Fabrizi.
