GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie il controllo viene effettuato sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i dischi in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati, i 33 giri su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1 mentre gli EP e i singoli a 45 giri con un Thorens TD 166 BC fornito di una testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All records in auction have been fully heard. Lps on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge, EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : in Portogallo la colonna sonora di Enriquez venne suddivisa in due extended play, il primo è quello qui in asta, il secondo con il numero di catalogo CBS 6424. Se in quest'ultimo veniva data maggior rilevanza alla bossa, al jazz ed alla musica Beat, qui troviamo prevalentemente temi dalle caratteristiche romantiche. "Rosa meu amor" (a1) è ricco di vocalizzi femminili, suoni percussivi e bella musica dell'orchestra. "Rosa dream" (a2) è caratterizzato dal dolce suono del flauto interrotto successivamente da ritmiche percussioni che accompagnano un canto femminile, alla fine viene anche coinvolta una chitarra dalle note romantiche. "Rosa que vai" (b1) ha un ritmo concitato sottolineato da percussioni e da un canto femminile come per una gioiosa danza collettiva. "The little bear" (b4) contiene un bel assolo di pianoforte.

Notes : in Portugal the soundtrack of Enriquez was divided into two extended play, the first one is now in auction, while the other has the catalog number CBS 6424. If in the latter it was given great importance to bossa, jazz and Beat sound, we find here some themes mainly from the romantic characteristics. "Rosa meu amor" (a1) is rich of female vocalizations, percussive sonorities and beautiful music of the orchestra. "Rosa dream" (a2) is characterized by the gentle sound of the flute then interrupted by lively percussions accompanying a female singing, at the end is also involved a guitar from romantic notes. "Rosa que vai" (b1) has a frenzied rhythm underscored by percussions and a female singing as if to a happy collective dance. "The little bear" (b4) includes a beautiful piano solo.
