A first issue UK 1965 album in original condition, featuring:

1. 'Lulu's, ‘debut’ album, LP from 1965,

2. side one of the record features the very earliest 'mother/stampers' of, '1B',

3. the 'incorrect record matrix' was engraved onto the record at the Decca factory, as side one originally featured an engraved record matrix of, 'ARL 6926 1B, and side two an originally engraved matrix of, 'ARL 6925 1B',

4. earliest engraved mono record matrix of, 1B/1B,

5. earliest engraved record 'mothers' of, 1/1,

6. original first issue UK 1965, red, 'ridged' Decca record labels,

7. comes with its original period ‘Decca’ inner sleeve.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent+ condition, the sleeve is laminated on the front. The original spine features a 'thicker' spine and features 'pinched ends', to the top and bottom of the spine, the spine is in excellent+ condition and has remained clean white and straight and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. The two opening edges of the sleeve have remained clean and sharp. The four corners of the sleeve have remained clean and sharp. The rear of the sleeve has remained an excellent clean fresh white in colour. The rear of the sleeve features the original UK twin ‘flip back’ design, ie 'fold over', top and bottom edges. There are NO tears, splits, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve. On the rear, top there is a name written in black pen.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in very good++ condition and is the original period ‘Decca’ inner sleeve. Theres NO pen writing, tears, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeve. There is a split to one of the side edges.

THE RECORD: each side of the record is in excellent+ condition. The record is made of the quality period, 1960s thick, heavy vinyl. The record has remained very dark and glossy.

The 'corrected' records matrix is: ARL 6925 1B and ARL 6926 1B,

The ‘mother/stampers’ are: side one - 1B, the earliest you can have, the 'hand etched' letters of ‘KT’ are also engraved onto the ‘run off’ groove. On side two - 1G, the 'hand etched' letters of ‘KT’ are also engraved onto the ‘run off’ groove.

THE AUDIO: each side plays excellent++, each side plays with excellent quiet grooves, a near perfect audio. Each side plays with a full powerful period, mono sound. The record lays flat on the turntable.

THE RECORD LABELS: each of the record labels are in excellent condition. Each of the record labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

TO GRADE THE CONDITION OF THE RECORD I AM USING THE OFFICIAL GRADING SYSTEM FROM THE ‘RECORD COLLECTOR’ MAGAZINE.

BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVE, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
