Mythical Italian soundtrack and holy grail Library masterpiece orchestrated by Peppino De Luca featuring the legendary I Marc 4 studio group. Outstanding mood music for the cult Poliziesco cum giallo crime thriller directed by Alberto De Martino starring Barbara Bouchet / Faith Domergue / Victor Buono and Keenan Wynn. For us, maybe the pinnacle example of sleazy lounge funk from Italy with that blaxploitation / euro exploitation sound. Eclectic variations on a re-occuring theme with funky alternative versions to die for ;) Certain trax also feature the bewitching scat vocals of Edda Dell'Orso over sexy psychedelic bossa like the beautiful L’UOMO DAGLI OCCHI DI GHIACCIO "L’AMORE"and UNISEX theme but the overall mood is quite aggressive and sinister. Other filmic cues are obsessive and experimental with a darker, slightly disturbing ambience. Our soundclip opens with the B-Boy funk and aptly named KILLER (with insane drumming by Vincenzo Restuccia of The Feed-Back / Gruppo D'Improvvisazione Nuova Consonanza infamy) followed by L’UOMO DAGLI OCCHI DI GHIACCIO "L’AMORE" / the funk dub reprise of RUOTA ROVENTE then the entire Lp from beginning to end. Stunning fender basslines by Maurizio Majorana / hammond organ - harpsichord - electric spinette by Antonello Vannucchi / guitar and fuzz distortions by Carlo Pes and flute by Gino Marinacci over a sophisticated brass section and cinematic strings. Great for DJs. Several trax comped for the Easy Tempo series. This record is arguably the hottest Pegaso title, alongside Un Uomo Dalla Pelle Dura by Carlo Pes and the equally brilliant I Due Volti Della Paura by Franco Micalizzi. Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG 

Vinyl is in shiny VG+ condition overall with hairlines / scuffs and some tiny scratches. All themes play with varying degrees of surface noises (these Pegaso pressings are not Cinevox quality either) and some themes also have intermittent pops and ticks (as you can hear on the soundclip). Side B has a section of finger nail (or machine generated) style scuffs that run diagonally across parts of the last 4 short themes. The laminated sleeve is in strong VG+ conditon with a section of serated abrasion marks / scuffing to middle top and bottom seam. Mini laminate chip marks to bottom side corner and opposite top corner. Light ding and wear to bottom corner at open side. Perfect spine and still a nice, sharp looking item in general. Some laminate crease lines (mostly to the outer edges). A few speckled dirt spots to back sleeve that all Pegaso / Fama / Iller / Jubal and Ritmi e Canzoni label releases seem to have. Faded, square shaped light indentation from a removed RAI archive sticker under top corner of front sleeve. Camera flash glare to sleeve and label photo. Very rare Library OST Lp!!!
