Description
Up for sale in this auction is a rare privately pressed promotional LP from Luther Allison entitled, "Luther Allison Underground". This was pressed by Luther Allison's manager and given out as promotional records as well as sold directly at shows that Luther was playing at. Very rare and privately pressed! A one of a kind unique Luther Allison piece! Vinyl is in VG++ to EX condition and looks to be never played (or played a couple of times at most). It looks new. Center label is clean. Vinyl is free of any marks. Fresh and glossy. Vinyl has the tiniest dish to it but when put on a turntable and spun you cannot even tell. Noting this for completeness. The minor dish does not affect playability, fully guaranteed. Jacket is generic white jacket that we received the record in. We believe this is how it was originally given out/sold as the only other copies we've seen of this record came the same way in a generic white jacket. Jacket is in VG+ shape and looks to be the same age as the record.

- M Mint - Perfect in all ways.
- M- Mint Minus - Near perfect, most likely and unplayed record
- NM- Near Mint Minus - Extremely well cared for record. Probably a record that's been around for some years but extremely well looked after, but still not quite new enough to call Mint.
- VG++ Very Good Plus - As close to NM as it comes.
- VG+ Very Good Plus - Very close to like new with only superficial signs of use that do not affect playability. Only records stored and used with care will grade out to VG+.
- VG Very Good - A used, reasonable copy that plays. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of some light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still nice and playable.
- VG- Very Good Minus - A record with significant wear and marks. Records graded VG-usually have some noticeable surface noise.
- G+ Good Plus. 'Good' means pretty beat up. From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about extremely beat up records.
