Here's a rather rare modern soul release from L.V. Johnson entitled "We Belong Together" on the PhonoRecords label.  Excellent record, excellent music... not to mention THE COVER.  Wow ;)

The vinyl is in VG++ to NM- condition.
This is both a play grade as well as a visual grade. The record has been carefully cleaned on a VPI machine. As the pictures show, there's a super clean vinyl surface. One mark on the first track of side two is definitely apparent but doesn't cause any disturbance in playback (check the second clip below for a complete clip of playback during that mark). The record plays excellent with nice, loud and clear music with very light background noise, if any exists at all.  The labels are bright and in great shape.  Check out the playback in the clips below:

The cover is in VG+ to VG++ condition.
The cover is in great shape with only light wear,  There is a ghosted area on the left side of the front that looks like a stain but I can't be sure - it could be in the print from the factory.  There is no damage to the cover in this area from moisture or such.  Spine is rather sharp with perfectly legible title print with only a few print chips.  Typical light wear to the black print at points of contact, mainly the corners.  This cover is in very nice shape.  Plain inner sleeve.

GRADING:
I will have the Goldmine Standard in mind when grading but will be taking plenty of pictures to represent the records condition. Any items having multiple condition grades: First grade is vinyl, second is the sleeve.

Here are grading abbreviations I may use:

"Goldmine Standard" grading:
SS = Still Sealed
Never opened. Any flaws (torn shrinkrwrap, creasing) will be indicated in the description.

NM- = Near Mint Minus
Has been opened, but is still flawless
with no damage whatsoever.

VG+ = Very Good Plus
- Vinyl: May have scuff marks and signs of some wear but will still play almost perfectly throughout, with only "barely detectable" crackles or pops. A slight noise at the begining is allowable, but the remainder must be nearly flawless.
- Cover: May only have the slightest signs of normal wear.
