IGOR STRAVINSKY L'Orchestre De La Suisse Romande, ERNEST ANSERMET Petrouchka LP UK 1950 (Decca) VG/VG+
DESCRIPTION: UK first pressing (I believe)
INFORMATION: I believe that this is a true first pressing (dated February 1950). An earlier shellac version is with The London Philharmonic Orchestra. Another interesting note is the label variation which isn't documented. This has the cat. no. LXT.2502-A // LXT.2502-B at 3 o'clock. This seems to be unique as no other labels have the added 'A' & 'B' next to the cat. no. The earliest documented version of this record is several months later in June
CONDITION: Heavy duty pasteboard sleeve is fully intact, but with edgewear & a corner crease at top left corner. Usual ageing on the reverse as expected for a 70+ years old record! Vinyl has light marks but still in pretty good condition considering its age
