This earliest press is on the orange and gold Decca label and is complete with the lightweight matt flipback Mears and Caldwell Ltd sleeve.
The vinyl is in Very Good condition. Both sides have a superb mirrored gloss, the grooves show no sign of heavy play, there is just are just a couple of small needle marks on both sides. The label is exceptionally clean and bright. The colour is solid and unworn, the text is sharp and there is the slightest spindle wear.
The sound quality is Very Good. The heavy original vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and the sound is exceptionally rich and warm. Just is very light background noise and a couple of clicks on the marks. The marks are audible but the noise is brief and does little to spoil the enjoyment of this rare original press.
