LYN DOBSON Jam Sandwich VINYL LP Original 1974 Fresh Air Label Nick Drake Assoc
From 1974, here is the rare Lyn Dobson album ‘Jam Sandwich’, released on the Fresh Air label.Lyn Dobson is a British musician, noted as a jazz-rock flautist and saxophonist. He appeared with Georgie Fame and the Blue Flames and Manfred Mann in the mid-1960s, and then with Soft Machine and Keef Hartley, as well as playing on albums by Nick Drake and John Martyn. Dobson played the flute solo on Manfred Mann's "Pretty Flamingo”. Dobson also played on a number of sessions for The Small Faces, including their Ogden's Nut Gone Flake LP, and the track "The Autumn Stone" (released after the group split in 1969), and he performed live with them during 1968. He also subsequently guested on Humble Pie's debut album As Safe As Yesterday Is (1969), on which he also played sitar.
He released an album, Jam Sandwich, on Fresh Air Records in 1974.

Unless otherwise stated, all the records I sell are previously owned and used. They are visually - not aurally - graded using, as a guide, the Record Collector system. If I am in doubt about the condition of the record, I do not list it.
RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played to the point where the sound quality may have noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
