This is my VG / EX condition UK ORIGINAL PINK ISLAND / ORANGE EYE copy of this VERY RARE ROCK STEADY LP - ILPS 969. One of the HARDEST TO FIND of all the UK ISLAND JAMAICAN related LPs. The vinyl is in great shape with no surface or 'withdrawl' type marks. It plays great with just a little (dust) noise between the tracks. A clean on a modern machine would no doubt produce a near MINT copy! The PINK labels are clean and tidy with no visible spindle marks. The non-laminated bright yellow cover looks great but there is light marks (light soiling not indentation in the actual card) of the shape of the record simply from storage and a small crease and tinyloss of colour at the bottrom r/h corner. The spine is strong but the wording has partially eroded. The white card, 'tabbed' rear sleeve is still WHITE, with just a couple of light creases in the card. If this sleeve had been laminated, non of these things would have happened, it would have easily been an EX copy. It has been hardly handled, but the soft nature of the card used in it's manufacture means it has gently worn. Even just standing on a shelf for years has resulted in these slight imperfections. Bid with confidence! A GREAT COPY OF THIS REAL RARITY!
