Lynsey De Paul - "Strange Changes" / 1981 - MCA Records, UK. Black vinyl 12" single. White label promotional item. Catalogue No. MSAM T 13 / Vinyl Very Good / Sleeve Fair - please note this original UK promotional item comes in a simple card sleeve with Promotional Release hand-stamped in corners and on labels, and a new anti-static innersleeve has been provided.
Condition / this is a rare 40 year old promo item, extremely rare & sought after. Shows light play and minor handling; there are a couple of light marks, a few clicks here and there. Could perhaps benefit slightly from a pro-clean to reduce some static build up. The vinyl retains a mostly glossy sheen and apart from those marks mentioned is very clean (the area around the spindle holes is very neat/sharp). Stick it on a turntable and it plays very very well - and you will be delighted with the sound. So it plays as Very Good+, very light crackle here and there, especially at the very start of both sides, but crisp & dynamic throughout both sides - no serious distortion, no jumps / Sleeve is just fair: a simple die-cut white promo sleeve with no thrills: generally grubby with some writing as well as the hand-stamped PROMOTIONAL RELEASE at each corner, ringwear etc. New antistatic innersleeve has been added to protect the vinyl further.
Note: I'm selling this as a seasonal gesture on behalf of the local Cornwall Hospice charity. All profits from the auction (after eBay costs and postage) will be donated to the charity - once buyer has confirmed that they are happy with their purchase.
