THEY RARELY come this good. The second and arguably definitive studio album from this consumate Southern rock band featuring a number of stage favourites including 'Sweet Home Alabama', 'Workin' For MCA', 'The Needle And The Spoon', 'Call Me The Breeze' and my favourite all time Skynyd cut 'The Ballad Of Curtis Loew'. The beauty of this album is the very fact that although Skynyrd were a full-on hard rock band with two guitars they always knew when to lift the peddle form the metal and settle on more subtle arrangements, hence the beauty of their mid pace songs. Truly one of the great southern rock albums, 'Second Helping' still sounds as fresh and as vital is it did on the day of release. A record that should be a compulsory addition to any record collection - preferably on original vinyl!

Vinyl: Nice clean condition. Some signs of use - a few spindle marks on labels and a few tiny scuffs visible under a bright light - primarily due to sliding in and out of the inner sleeve and some light scuffs. Grades as Ex
Cover: Again, only light signs of use. Issued in a beautifully illustrated single cover. Sharp corners, no dings, no bends, light ring wear just beginning, no split seams and no creases. Spine is straight, stiff and uncrushed. Beautiful and impossible to find like this 49 years after release. Grades as Ex+
