Description

"Street Survivors" by Lynyrd Skynyrd. This album is on the MCA label, MCA-3029. This is the original "Flames" cover which was recalled within a week of the issuance of "Street Survivors". Ronnie Van Sant, guitarist Steve Gaines and Gaines' sister were killed in a plane crash in October 1977, 3 days after the release of the album.
I used a question mark after the word "sealed" in the title box because although the cover is sealed in shrink on three sides, including the mouth of the cover, there are two thin adhesive strips marked A and B securing the shrink wrap to the spine. The spine is exposed. I am reluctant to break and enter the shrink that covers the mouth (opening) of the cover. That being said, I am reasonably certain that the record inside is an original first pressing.
 There is a "$5.99 Rockin' Mania"(record store, I assume) sticker affixed to the shrink. This would be about the right price for an album in 1977.
 To be completely fair, I cannot say the album is sealed based on the above information. It is obviously shrink wrapped at least.
I will let the market decide the value of this unusual item.

Record Plays: Because of the ambiguous nature of this album as described above I cannot give a grade to this record.  The album will be sold as is with no return or refund for that reason.
