Description
Up for auction is a very nice, original pressing of the Lynyrd Skynyrd album Street Survivors, originally released by MCA Records (MCA 3029) in 1977:
-Guaranteed original pressing, NOT reissue -Original banned "flames" gatefold cover -Original tan MCA labels -MASTERED BY CAPITOL stamped in deadwax -Both original inserts -Original and correct MCA inner sleeve
Note: Originals with BOTH inserts are becoming very difficult to find, especially in this condition.
Condition: Cover is in great shape, with only minor signs of wear or age. No ring wear on front, still has its original shine (see photos). Most copies you'll find have ring wear on the black back cover, but this one is super nice with only a hint of ring (see photos). One corner is bumped (see photo), others are sharp. Interior clean. No seam splits or wear. Spine is tight, titles look clean. Great, clean original cover! Grade: Excellent (EX)
Vinyl is also in great shape, still retains its original glossy shine. No obvious scratches or scuffs, but under a strong light, shows a few faint, superficial hairlines, probably from taking the vinyl out of the paper inner sleeve a few times. Labels are clean, no wear around spindle holes. Looks like this record has been played only a couple times at most previously but handled with care. Grade: Excellent (EX)

How I Pack Your Records:
I remove the records with inner sleeves from the covers prior to packing. I sandwich the record between two pieces of cardboard for padding and protection. I also reinforce the corners of the shipping box to protect the corners of the record jacket from damage.
