Description
We are offering Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Street Survivors with the original "Flames" Cover. The original cover, featuring the band surrounded by flames, was quickly withdrawn after the tragic plane crash killing band members Ronnie Van Zant and Steve Gaines, as well as backup singer Cassie Gaines (Steve's sister) and road manager Dean Kilpatrick.. On October 19, 1977, two days after releasing their album, the plane crashed in the woods five miles outside of Gillsburg, Mississippi.
This is the first pressing of this album in 1977 and contains the original inserts and inner sleeve. This is truly a collector's item. Gatefold cover is near fine with very minor wear. Vinyl record, two Inserts and inner sleeve are all pristine.
The album comes from a private vintage collection. We have more of the collection listed. Combined orders save on shipping!
