Description
Alain Goraguer's soundtrack to 1973's La Planete Sauvage is an utterly unique and absorbing prog-funk masterpiece. Consisting of 25 tracks that replay variations of a couple of musical themes, it draws the listener deep into a rich, vast and sonic soundscape. Eerie, playful and beautiful, it never for one second falters. Featuring wah-wah guitar, clavinet (an electrophonic keyboard), choral arrangements, solid percussion, Pink Floyd style guitar - this is mood music with plenty of groove. With a running time of 38 minutes, it demands the listener's attention. Stunning.
Item condition
Condition of vinyl is EXCELLENT. Has very light traces of use with some minor hairline surface scratches.
Condition of original album sleeve is EXCELLENT
Does have some slight edge ware/creases from shelf storage

Record grading guide
Mint (M) – Absolutely perfect in every way. Never been played and usually sealed.
Near Mint (NM) – The record has been on a shelf between other records. The vinyl looks glossy and clearly has only been played a few times. There are no marks on the vinyl and the whole package is complete.
Excellent (E) – Very light marks where the vinyl has been in and out of the inner sleeve a few times, or some small signs of use generally. Has been played.
Very Good Plus (VG+) – A few further faults, but nothing that really compromises the record visually or audibly. A little rub, light inaudible marks, a little background crackle.
Very Good (VG) – It’s seen a bit of life, but is still usable. Light pops and clicks, an edge split, light visible scratches. You can still listen to it and enjoy looking at it, but it is visually and audibly USED.
