Original 1970 pressing of Que Vacilón by La Preferida de Felix Caraballo, released on MGM Records Latino Series (LAT-10004). A powerful and under-the-radar Latin salsa LP with heavy guaguancó and son stylings recorded at Delta Recording Studios. Led by Felix “Papy” Caraballo on congas and featuring Smilie Gonzalez on vocals, this album delivers raw, authentic Puerto Rican sabor with serious New York Latin studio muscle—recorded and mixed by Jon Fausty.

A must-have for fans of early salsa dura, obscure MGM Latino issues, or collectors of grassroots 1970s Nuyorican sound. Features a full lineup of veteran musicians including Andy Hernandez on piano, Louis Aviles on trombone, and Charlie Hernandez on trumpet.
