Description

Mega rare original LP of La Vern Baker Sings Bessie Smith (Atlantic 1281 - mono)  Original 1950s black label edition with deep groove on both sides - NOT a current re-issue.  One of Baker's best LPs also features Sahib Shihab, Jerome Richardson, Paul Quinichette and others in an extremely rare original edition.   


The LP is in VG++/Near Mint condition with minimal marks (hardly worth reporting) and with likely all of the original shine - still in remarkable condition after over sixty years!  The cover is in strong VG+ condition with some general age/shelf wear, but NO tape, NO splits, NO writing, NO stickers, NO stamps. A remarkable copy of a rare classic!

The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials (over twenty years experience safely selling jazz LPs around the world).
