Lale Andersen - Lied Eines Jungen Wachtpostens (Lili Marlen) E.G.6993
Lili Marlen (also known as "Lili Marleen") is a German love song which became popular throughout Europe and the Mediterranean, among both Axis and Allied troops, during World War II. It was first recorded by Lale Andersen in 1939 and we believe this Shellac copy dates back to 1941. It was later recorded by Marlene Dietrich in 1944 and became a massive success.

Cleaned and play tested, there are a few light scratches or marks which may cause some minor surface noise (no skips or loud ticks recorded).
Record will be sent out in a brand new, white cardboard generic sleeve for added protection. The original pink "His Master's Voice" sleeve is also included, although it is a bit worn and dirty.
