Description

Greetings one and all to another of my ebay record listings!  I hope you will enjoy your stay while you're here!  Sorry, had I remembered I might have company, I would have been better prepared, so....i hope y'all like potato sticks.  MmmmMMM!  I love those greasy little buggers!  I also love my people who decide to take the time and have a look at what I have to offer.
Hmm, I just sneezed twice.  Who's talking about me?  Huh?  That's okay. I don't mind.  Just try not to be too harsh, willya?
nah...go ahead and be harsh too.  I don't mind any trash talk.  Really, I don't.  But I warn who does-be ready to back up with facts, and I ask that you at least be creative! The old fashioned "you s*ck!" is flat out boring.  Be creative!
Okay, this time up, since the local flavor records seem to do fair to middlin', time to toss out another one.  This time up, I have a 1979 release by local guys Lamour!  Another, yet another Tommy Applegate band!  Folks, this guy has been around for a long time, has been through it all, and still can play better more solid guitar than pretty much anyone in the local area, he has, and I am certain as long as there are shows to play, and he has the opportunity, he will.  This was his 1979 band, Lamour.  Back in those days around here, you had Lamour, Beex, Barriers, Orthotonics, and if you were lucky(good or bad, take your pick-depending on what show) the Degenerate Blind Boys.  Lamour was probably the smoothest. They were almost skinny-tie music, except they knew skinny ties were for wussies, so they decided to rock instead.
This is on the Zero Degree Records label, # ZD001.  This record has been kept in E+ condition, obviously not my "play" copy, but my "hold on until.." copy.  The vinyl is in E+ (my grading, please have a look below.  It's not G*ldmine grading folks!) and the cover does have some wear, it's getting a little crinkly with age, but still holds together, has some wear near the opening, and some age/discoloration.  Cover gets my E-.

In case anyone's wondering, here is my scale for grading.  M - Mint.  Reserved for still factory sealed.  N- Near Mint, opened, no marks whatsoever.  E+, no marks other than a smudge that i'm too lazy to clean.  E, a light mark or 2, probably won't affect play. (why "probably"?  Because everyone claims their hearing is better than the next persons'.) E-, marks or wear that will cause a little audible affectation.  V+, wear that will cause some distortion of some type.  V, V-, P, well, you get the picture.

Folks, if you haven't noticed, I am not very flattering of this general area.  However, there have been some real good rocking bands over time.  This is an outstanding example!

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR NON-U.S. BIDDERS!!!!
All items I sell will be sent with a copy of the sale form, printed up from eBay.  I will not "mark item as a gift", just so you can evade import rules.  The people at my post office know me, and they will check overseas packages for inspection.  If you cannot comply with that, please do not bid.

Also, international bidders, the price listed for postage on my listings are for domestic mailing.  I wish I could send overseas for that price, but reality speaks different.  I place a fair price on all international postage.  Watch for the invoice if you win.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All items that are sent to a U.S. address will have delivery confirmation (at my cost) attached, as I have found that it helps...a lot!....to ensure that packages are truly en route to the customer.  This is for both of our sakes.  I will be using USPS "Media Mail" as my primary shipping method, however, if needed, and for an extra charge, I can ship with "Priority Mail", and if i can get away with it for the price, I really like 1st Class, but that's weight-dependent.

Oh yes, if you are the winning bidder, and you are in the Commonwealth of Virginia, I'm afraid you are going to have to fork over the 5% Virginia State Sales Tax.

Paypal is my preferred method of payment, if you need another way, please contact me before bidding.  Or, if you have any other questions about this listing, or any of my listings, please feel free to contact me.  I will answer any & all questions as quickly and concisely as possible.

So here's another slice of life, a slab'o'sound from the late 70's WABAC machine, from here in our little humbl....okay, not so humble burg!  Have at it y'all!
