Rick Nowels – u.a. verantwortlich für „Summertime Sadness“ – bleibt bei seiner Produktion Lana Del Reys Noir-Pop-Stil treu, anmutig und graziös. Dan Auerbach wiederum, Produzent von den Black Keys, macht aus dieser Vorlage eine herzklopfartige Psych-Rock-Produktion, die sich durch überraschende Tempowechsel auszeichnet. Die Magie allerdings kommt von woanders her, dafür ist alleine Lana mit ihrer einzigartigen Vocalperformance und Textzeilen wie „He’s crazy and Cubano como yo my love“ verantwortlich.
