Description
This is Blue Note Records BST 84242, Larry Young Of Love And Peace, a blue and white, New York labeled original stereo issue featuring Eddie Gale, James Spaulding and Herbert Morgan. There is Van Gelder stamped on the dead wax. This record was never issued with the ear mark. There is the 43 West 61st St., New York 23 address on the back cover. It says Liberty on the front. This is an original issue from the late transition period. The record is in near mint condition showing almost no signs of wear and playing quietly throughout. The cover shows two hole punches and shelf wear, but is otherwise excellent and intact. The original thumbnail inner sleeve is included. The labels have a price in ink on both sides but are otherwise excellent. An excellent collector's grade copy of this Blue Note session. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is part of a large Jazz record collection I will be listing over the next few months. Please check our other listings.
