Last Exit were an English rock band formed in Newcastle in 1974.


Gerry Richardson (keyboards)

Sting (Gordon Sumner) (electric bass & vocals)

Ronnie Pearson (drums & vocals)

John Hedley (guitar)

Terry Ellis (guitar)


… and featured a certain Sting !


This is their first and only single, produced in limited quantities. Most retail copies had a solid centre but these ones with the push-out centre were intended for jukeboxes and only 50 were ever made (according to the producer, David Wood) as promos and only in the Newcastle area.


I’ve described it as used because I have played it but the record itself is in near-mint condition.


There was no original sleeve with this so I will be supplying it in a generic white cardboard sleeve from my collection where it has been housed for decades.


The ‘b’-side is available nowhere else.
