Description

I have up for auction a record (78) on the black and gold BROADWAY label with New York Skyline at the top, sleeve says The New York Recording Laboratories, Port Washington, Wisconsin; probably later 1920s and it is Electrically Recorded. Most of these recordings on Broadway have alternate names for the dance orchestras but were popular and well-known bands of the era. This one is #1264 by Midnight Ramblers and selections are "Kansas City Kitty"-Fox Trot with vocal by Fred King and "Building A Nest For Mary"-Fox Trot-vocal again by Fred King. The record is in excellent condition, actually looks almost new; possibly new old stock. Little or no wear and scuffs or scratches are very few, light and surface variety. Surfaces still quite shiny and clean. Comes with the really neat looking Broadway sleeve as well!
