Atlantic 1308. This is an original not a re-issue of Ruth Brown's classic jazz and swing session with big band arrangements titled Late Date with Ruth Brown. The lp has a black label(with sticker), and it is a beautiful copy, however there are scratches, which is why it is only rated VG, however this is a rare and desirable record. There may be light surface noise. Wonderful arrangements on classic jazz standards, Brown never sounded do smooth and relaxed as she does on these sides. This is without a doubt her finest session, and her most sought after one. I have seen this in mint for $260.00 at a particular store in Hollywood, and you can't find it anywhere on the net(I've searched and searched). So bid now or forget about ever owning a VERY GOOD(both vocer and lp) copy.
