Comments: Hartford, CT. based label. Vocals by the composer Bill Scruggs, who comes across as a straightforward soul singer, but with a Latin backing band. Strong trombone laden horn section above a heavy beat, particularly on the rhythmic mid-tempo B-side. A-side leans towards the ballady side.
