   For sale is Laura Nyro's Christmas And The Beads Of Sweat, originally released in 1970 by Columbia Records as a promotional copy with a timing sheet on the front cover for radio airplay. In the dead wax between the label and the last track are the matrix numbers 1-A/1-B, indicating that a first stamper was used to make this first edition, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. I bought this record used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into a MFSL archival inner sleeve. This protects the integrity of the vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the release. There is no original inner sleeve with this listing. The cover is graded as VG because of corner blunts, ring wear and the top of the timing sheet is torn off. The spine is Excellent with just some oxidation. The vinyl is visually graded as VG+ because of faint sleeve marks and some surface scratches. I'm play grading it as VG+ because of low level surface noise, most noticeable during the quiet sections. It's been played only on Audiophile equipment since I've owned it and still has a lot of life yet. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection. This record has become very rare, especially as a promotional first edition. I have a lot more Folk records as well as albums of all different genres listed in my Ebay store. Please take a look.
