Description
This 12" 78rpm was recorded by Laurel And Hardy during there visit to the UK on 18th August 1932 . Side One being patter between the boys and Side Two a recording of their theme song "The Dance Of The Cuckoo's"
This is the only 78rpm ever to be released by Laurel And Hardy so it is now very rare. Bought about 25 years ago from beanos in Croydon when i was looking for Records to sample
In very good condition and i have stored and looked after this there are a few marks on the record but nothing major the marks were there when i bought it .
One of the rarest 78's from the best comedy duo of all time - Laurel and Hardy performing the Dance of the Cuckoos produced by Hal Roach of MGM for Columbia Records. This was their only recording during their tour of the UK in 1932.
One side features a comic routine whilst the other side features The Dance Of The Cuckoos.
The record has one blemish on the Dance of the Cuckoos side, otherwise the record looks to be in excellent condition. Catalogue number CAX. 9488; the record comes in its sleeve from g roberts from Croydon
