From Atlantic Records (1281) this is LAVERN BAKER SINGS BESSIE SMITH by LAVERN BAKER, an original (first ) US mono pressing from 1958. Jacket is about NEAR MINT MINUS or better showing no outstanding flaws or blemishes (see photos). 

Labels and playing surfaces are super-clean. Visually grades about MINT. However, a couple of minor clicks as the record begins and a few random clicks on side one bring down the rating to strong NEAR MINT. Plays like a dream with no distortion, no extraneous noise (except insignificant noise already mentioned). You'll likely not find a better example of this pop blues classic in this lifetime. Am I overstating?  Nope.
