Description
For sale is Lawrence Welk Presents Pete Fountain. It was released in 1958 by Coral Records. It is the original first Monophonic pressing on the maroon Coral label. I bought this used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 and immediately put it into a MFSL archival inner sleeve. Doing this preserves the integrity of the vinyl and any insert(s) or inner sleeve(s) that may have originally come with the release. The inner sleeve is Near Mint. The Cover is graded as Excellent with some ring wear. The spine is Near Mint. The Vinyl is visually graded as VG+ because of spindle marks on the label and faint sleeve marks. I play graded this as Near Mint, with incredible dynamics and imaging. This is the best copy of this rare album that I have ever seen or heard. You would be hard pressed to find another one in this condition ever again, given the fact that this record is 62 years old and in almost perfect condition. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative.
