Description
- This is the rare single English pressing of a magnificent piece of music. Similar to what Peter Sinfield did with PFM's second album "Photos of Ghosts," the vocals were re-recorded with Peter Hammill's English lyrics This is considered by many to be the pinnacle Le Orme recording of all time. They had moved away from the ELP influences and created a new sound. Gorgeous organ/mellotron led symphonic prog with great musicianship. Like so many great recordings, Le Orme used sound to its fullest creating some unbelievable proggy moments with a heavy emphasis on the classic sound of piano and song structure. The songs are very well constructed and written which do not sound dated considering the age of the recording. "Felona & Serona" is a moody piece and seems to cover a wide spectrum of emotions.
