Description
Rare and amazing Lead Belly 5 record set of 78 rpm. One of two versions from 1939. Overall in great shape-see condition description above. I have more photos available upon request, though they won't reveal much about the records themselves since they are difficult to photograph and I have included a photo of the one inner sleeve that has split from the spine on the inside. The outer spine is in very good shape with minor cracking at the bottom edge. These were in my father in laws collection, a life long blues fan, historian, and collector; and former writer and record reviewer with Rolling Stone magazine. He has visually graded these at near mint minus, but thinks some may never have been played.
