Description

"Take This Hammer" b/w "Corn Bread Rough," historic recording by Huddie Ledbetter ("Lead Belly") in January 1942. This was one of the first issued records on the legendary Asch label, #101. Condition is E-/E. Small dig in "Hammer" side that clicks a few times, but passes without skipping. "Corn Bread Rough" is a rare recording featuring Lead Belly playing button accordion. "Hammer" features his customary work on 12-string guitar.
