LEAF HOUND - GROWERS OF MUSHROOM 1971 DECCA VINYL Up for auction is an original Leaf Hound - Growers of Mushroom vinyl. This record was released on the Decca label in 1971 and was made in London, England. The overall condition of the record is VERY GOOD to VG+. It is still owned by the original owner. The number on the spine and the face of the vinyl is SKL-R 5094. The surface of the vinyl itself is in VG+ condition and plays very well. The slip that covers the vinyl is in great condition and still has the plastic intact. The album cover itself is in Very Good condition; the color is still bright and vivid. Leaf Hound was a product of the South-West London rock scene of the late sixties. Growers of Mushroom’ was recorded in one eleven hour session at Spot Studios in Mayfair, London, in late 1970. Few rock albums have achieved greater cult status than Leaf Hound’s 'Growers of Mushroom.' Accompanied by the aura and mystique which surrounds buried treasure, the album has gradually acquired a mythical status, reflecting the hallucinogenic imagery of its cover, and befitting the explosive fusion of soulful blues and hard rock fury contained within its grooves.
