Very nicely preserved UK copy of Led Zeppelin’s  1979 release of “In Through the out door".

This album is presented on the Swan Song Recording label - Catalogue number is SSK 59410. Stereo.

This is a particularly rare album that still carries the brown paper "bag" style outer sleeve - please see photo's.

About the album:

The Brown Paper Outer Sleeve:

Remains in its original factory issue state, as you view the sleeve from the front -  you are able to see the track listings, the record label logo and catalogue number and The Swan Song Copyright marking.(please see photo).

To the flipside you can see another stamp that shows the album's title  - it is fully in tact and remains in very good condition - please see photos.

The Outer Sleeve:

Presents in excellent condition. It is clean and free from damage with the exception of the occasional/random small crease marks to the outer edges that are purely consistent with storage, in my view these are not detectable unless a close examination is preferred. The spine and corners are very good and well preserved.

The Inner Sleeve:

Is the factory pressed picture sleeved cover in black and white on both sides and presents  in good clean order, no rips, tears or writing.There is an occasional mark here and there but nothing at all that detracts from the overall very good condition.

The Vinyl:

Presents on both sides with an excellent, clear glossy sheene.

Side One:

A close visual examination under bright lighting conditions of Side 1 does not reveal  evidence of any surface marks or surface scratches that are of any concern to me, I have therefore played this side on two separate occasions - and on my audio equipment the sound reproduction is of excellent quality. As with any vinyl - even new one can detect the occasional crack and pop consistent with hard to detect surface marks or dust - particularly on quitter sections of the album and on intro's play off's, with the right cleaning cloth these can be eradicated.(please see photo's). As stated, I have played this side twice and at no time did I detect any skipping, jumping or sticking.

On the play-off section the matrix numbers (etched) read as   SSK - 59410 A5. Additionally, the word "STRAWBERRY" is also stamped onto the play-off section.

The label is in very clean order.

Side Two:

Again, a close visual examination under bright lighting conditions of Side 2 does not reveal  evidence of any surface marks or surface scratches that are of any concern to me,  I have also  played this side  on two occasions and on my audio equipment the sound reproduction is again of excellent quality. As I have said, with any vinyl - even new one can detect the occasional crack and pop consistent with hard to detect surface marks or dust - particularly on quitter sections of the album and on intro's play off's, with the right cleaning cloth these can be eradicated.

Again,at no time did I detect any skipping or jumping throughout the entire playing period of Side 2.(please see photo's)

Again the label is in very clean order.
