Description
This is a genuine Led Zeppelin first LP album, and is quite rare, in fact I had to do a little research to find out more about it.
Not to be confused with the more common orange lettering editions, this one is a rare purple lettered cover. (and the first of its kind that I've ever seen). My research told me that it is a Rhodesian copy, and is wearing the Atlantic white label which contains the wording " Superhype Stereo ATC 9180" and was manufactured by Teal records in 1969.
The album plays quite well, with side one playing 'very good' (a few crackles at the end of track two). Side two plays Very good +. The cover is good, with a three inch tear at the bottom right hand side which has been repaired at some time. The labels are clean. All in all, quite an unusual and rare find considering it's origins, and a must for any serious music collector. Sold without reserve! I have put the postage cost at a basic UK £4.00.
