Description
This is the very rare first true press Superhype of Zeppelins debut LP, and is the same LP pressing that was included with the turquoise cover, when the sleeve changed the remaining copies were added to the orange sleeves.
The Sleeve is in very good plus condition with no obvious damage as can be seen from the photos.
The vinyl has some surface scratches particularly on side 2, caused by me unfortunately when it slipped from my grasp a number of years ago, but despite the look they are surface scratches and don’t effect the playback. The sound quality of these early pressings was amazing. I would grade this conservatively as very good, but certainly sounds a very good plus.
Later pressings had the 8 on the matrix scratched out but this one is untouched denoting the very first press.
I’ve started it low due to the cosmetic look of the vinyl and I must say it plays better than my turquoise copy, I’ve just replayed it today and it sounds AMAZING! These true first pressing copies are rare now but I’ll let the market decide on the price as it’s a true original copy.
