Description
You are bidding on a rarely-seen and beautiful 4 LP box set of Led Zeppelin, "Destroyer." This is a rare production from DRGM Enterprises and The Led Zeppelin Fan Clubs International. The labels are handwritten on 6 of the eight sides. I would rate the vinyl overall as Excellent. I played the records and most of the noise is at the beginning of each disc right before the music starts. As the record plays the quality improves to, in some cases, NM. You won't disappointed with the overall sound quality of these rare records. They are thick and well made. I play all my records on a Denon Direct drive table with a Denon moving coil cartridge which is very sensitive to noise.
The box, top and bottom are also in excellent condition overall. The bottom is NM, the bottom has tears in the corners but holds together fine. EXC overall.
The Sleeves are perfect and look to be original - all four are the same.
The cover photo is beautiful and is separate, never glued to the box as many others I've seen. Therefore you can display as you would like. The music was recorded from a concert in Cleveland on June 24, 1977, and was produced in 1982. Surprisingly good sound for a live concert. Lots and lots of extended live versions of their greatest songs in this box set. The following is the set list:
