Description
Vinyl looks nice strong VG+ to VG++ ("Excellent")
We VPI Machine-Cleaned both sides and play-graded
both sides all the way through:
There are NO loud pops and NO loud clicks.
There's minor surface crackle audible between tracks
and during quiet passages / quiet intros and quiet outros.
The highs are crisp and the dynamic range is nice,
and the sound is not overly compressed as is common
with modern "Re-Mastered" sound.
The bass is tight, not too much, NOT anemic by any means,
it's what you usually hear on Zep's music.
Comes with the original printed lyric innersleeve on heavy paper stock.
All the seams are intact. No creases or damage or writing.
No obvious compression - just a tiny bit on the very tops
and bottoms of either side.
Comes in a nice "STRONG VG+" Gatefold jacket that has
almost no shelf-wear visible on either side.
The outer panels are clean and don't have any obvious wear or damage.
There's one faint crease in the middle of the back panel
that's almost impossible to see except with an unusual lighting angle.
The spine and seams are intact (NO seam-splitting).
There is some very minor wear on a few small stretches of the edges and spine.
The corner points have minor wear.
NO stickers, NO writing, NO stains, NO corner cutting or notch or drill hole.
We carefully inspected the dead-wax run-out groove etchings and stamps -
- this is a variant pressing that's not in the discogs database yet:
ST - A - 732783 - A AT (and then, neatly machine stamped
"STERLING" and etched "RL" initials) (and then etched upside down
"PR" immediately followed, when viewed upside down as well,
by what looks like VERY VERY FAINT "C O")
